Our Story

Why does learning lose its appeal when curiosity is part of everyday life?

We at Asudé believe that learning happens everywhere. However, while working with formal educational institutions made one thing clear: education is boxed inside classrooms, and learners struggle to connect it to real life.

This led to birth of the learning design lab at Asudé which designs the world into a Playground for Learning.

The Thinking Behind the Lab

Students learning outside the classroom

It started with a simple realisation

Working with schools across different parts of India, one thing became clear.

This was not about delivering content. It was about designing how learning happens.

Learning space being built

3 ideas began to shape the work

  • Learning needs to account for how people differ

  • Play is not separate from learning. It is how people test ideas and understand choices

  • Culture shapes how people make sense of what they learn

Learning is everywhere

What the work showed over time

Over time, the work showed that learning happens across systems and culture, not just classrooms, and needs to be designed that way.

Let’s Work Together!

If you see a gap between classrooms and the real world, we can build something meaningful together.

Learning Appears In Many Environments

Before designing programs, the team spends time understanding how learning appears in different settings.

These experiences shape how the lab approaches each project.

The work does not begin with fixed ideas. It begins with how people experience learning.
